Payment and Rental Period
A deposit of 30% of
the rent is payable upon booking your stay. The balance of 70%
is due on arrival. The apartments are rented from 14.00 hours
on the arrival date to 10.00 hours on the departure date. (There
is usually flexibility on the times)
Damage/Phone Deposit
On your arrival you
will be asked for a damage/phone deposit of £500 payable with
any of the above cards, UK cheque or cash, can be also in dollars.
This amount less any outstanding telephone bills will be returned
to you, provided there is no damage caused by you or your guests
to any property or equipment, as the cost to repair or replace
will be withheld by us from your deposit.
Please
report any breakage or damage when you leave. In the apartment
there is stain remover for furniture and carpets, should there
be an accidental spillage please use immediately to minimize long-term
damage. Please help us keep the apartment nice for future visitors.
Although the final cleaning is included, the apartment is to be
left in a tidy clean condition, garbage taken to the bins and
used towels put in the bath, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and
so on.
Cancellation & Changes of dates
If the booking is cancelled
more than three months before the start date, half the down payment
paid will be refunded and if we manage to re-rent it a full refund
minus any administration costs. However, if the booking is cancelled
within 3 months of the starting date, the rent will be refunded,
less half the down payment, only if we manage to re-rent the property
otherwise the balance is due regardless.
We strongly advice you to take out
travel insurance, to cover the rent in the event of having to
cancel.
Should
you need to change your booking dates: for changes before 3 months
of the arrival date there is an administration fee of £30, for
changes less than 3 months of the starting date the deposit will
be lost unless we manage to re-rent the property at the original
price, in which case there will only be the administration fee
of £30 payable. For changes made less than 2 months before arrival
date the whole rent is due unless we manage to re-rent the property.
Should we have to cancel your booking for any reason due to our
own problems of organisation or for any reasons beyond our control
we shall reimburse whatever sums you have been paid to us.
Number of guests Maximum
The apartment is let
only to the number of persons indicated
in the booking.
Unless requested in advance,
guests exceeding this number may not be accepted.
General rules of the buildings
As the apartments are
located in residential buildings, it is therefore important for
everyone's comfort and enjoyment in the building to observe certain
rules:
1/
Not to make noise or play music or TV in the apartments so as
to cause annoyance or inconvenience to the other occupants of
the building or so as to be audible outside the apartment between
the hours of 9pm and 8am and not at any time to cause a nuisance
or annoyance to the other occupants of the building.
2/ Not to hang washing out of the windows or on the balcony or
to shake any loose articles out side.
3/ Not to leave luggage, rubbish bags, any goods packages or obstructions
of any nature in the entrance hall passage, landing or staircases.
4/ No pets allowed.
Rules & Regulations
Pets are not allowed
generally in the accommodation. Please ask at the time of booking
about other restrictions that apply to each apartment. Our conditions
of trade are subject to English law exclusively.
Breaking
of the above rules can lead to the immediate termination of the
rental agreement.
Receipt of rent agreement
and deposit signifies agreement to the above conditions. Confirmation
of the booking and acknowledgement receipt of payments will be
made by e-mail / fax. Please note that we cannot guarantee the
booking until payment has been received and confirmation sent
back to you.
